"Life is like a kaleidoscope . . .  which is many pieces coming together to form a grand picture in vivid Technicolor.  To change the view, you need only to turn the kaleidoscope and another wonderful, yet colorful image appears.  We have the ability to  . . . design a spectacular life! "   Marty Segelke

THE KALEIDOSCOPE JOURNAL

A Kaleidoscope Journal (KJ) is a proven mode of organizing your collection of family stories and memorabilia. The method is simple, straightforward and easy to develop.

Ultimately, the result is a priceless, unique and wonderful reflection of your life, your family and others near to you. It is an ongoing endeavor that may be formalized into printed form. Cherished as a unique legacy of your life, the time it takes is so small in relationship to the value realized.

MUST I BE A WRITER?
This is writing from the heart – yours or assisting others who might need your help. There is no right or wrong because this is your story. You will be amazed just how enjoyable it is to recall and pen those wonderful memories and experiences you have had. Truly this method is so easy; you will be excited to get started.

HOW CAN I LEARN MORE ABOUT A KALEIDOSCOPE JOURNAL?
Since 1998, I have been teaching classes using the KJ method. It is a format I developed after listening to friends talk about losing their parents and wishing they had more stories of their family lives. The KJ concept seemed to me to be the easiest, yet most rewarding method I could develop. My students who have created their own KJ's have enjoyed the process and are very enthusiastic about the method.

If you are intrigued with writing your family stories, or have a group of friends that are also interested, I am happy to train a trainer to conduct the classes.  The interaction between members of a like-minded group makes the process even more enjoyable.  You certainly can do a Kaleidoscope Journal on your own, but if you want to be in a class or form a class of your own, give me a call.
